Luckily we live in a time where we can have any of the information needed right at our fingertips. So when traveling I like to make sure I’m more than prepared in case something goes wrong. To make my life easier these are my 3 must have apps when traveling.

Airline you book with In case of gate changes, delays, or cancellations you will be notified right away. The airport is not the quietest place in the world, unless you’re sitting right by the counter you’ll most likely not hear of any last-minute changes. Whether it’s Jetblue, Spirit, or American Airlines make sure you have their app downloaded with your flight information.

Currency Converter If you’re headed somewhere where a different currency is used, I highly recommend downloading a currency converter. You might be paying with a credit card 90% of the trip but having cash in hand for small purchases or tips comes in handy- Especially to make sure you’re not being scammed or tricked into paying more. The currency converter application I use is called XE Currency & Money Transfer. I have never used it to transfer money, just to convert the currency.

Whatsapp This app is an international gem if traveling out of the country. Whatsapp allows you to communicate with people with wifi.
